Changes to Reebok Crossfit Nano 5.0

Reebok Crossfit Nano 6.0 Design

  • Powerlaunch Technology – more room for your toes and better energy transfer during training
  • Kevlar-infused upper – more durability and light weight
  • Rubber sole with deeper tread for better grip
  • Anatomical fit for better stability

Comparison to older Nanos

  • Fit more snag than Crossfit Nano 4.0 and Nano 2.0
  • Lighter than 4s
  • Go half size up if you own 2s
  • Exact same sole as Nano 5.0
  • Good firm base better than Nano 4.0 and 3.0
  • Better for running than 3s and 5s but much worse than 4s – the sole is too stiff for running
  • More stable around the ankle than Nano 5.0
  • Kevlar in Nano 6.0 is softer and more flexible than in Nano 5.0
  • More support for lifting than Nano 4.0
Crossfit Nano 6.0 vs Crossfit Nano 5.0

Crossfit Nano 6.0 vs Crossfit Nano 5.0

What’s good

  • Your toes are very comfortable when doing floor exercises like burpees, planks, push ups etc.
  • Quality build and materials
  • These are the best shoes you can use for P90X
  • You can customize it for your liking
  • They fit perfectly if you have a normal arch
  • You feel quite stable with jumping, rowing and squatting
  • Although it’s not the web mesh Nano 2.0 had you don’t feel hot
  • Shoes are very light weight with minimally raised heel
  • They’re not cushioned which gets you more support
  • Perfect shoes for performing WODS
  • Very soft tongue
  • Very comfortable and sturdy during pistols
  • Advertisements all around the shoe was removed

What’s bad

  • Reason to order half size bigger might be a size of the insole which is a bit shorter than size of the shoes – you can sometimes feel the edge of the insole with your toe tips
  • Because of more padded insole you don’t feel so grounded for squats and olympic lifts like in the 5.0
  • A bit stiff for running but crossfit shoes shouldn’t be used for running anyway
