What’s good
- Asics is well recognized brand in strength training market
- The base is more solid than Chucks
- Sturdiness during heavy lifts
- Forefoot is much more flexible compared to other olympic lifting shoes – you have better transition from squats, snatches and cleans into jumping exercises like double-unders, box jumps etc
- Enough flexibility for sprints up to 400m
- They’re firm but still quite comfortable
- Your foot is protected against foot and ankle rolls
- The value is excellent against Adidas and Nike competition
- You can comfortably do sled pushes
- Same fit as Asics running shoes
- Lightweight and breathable

What’s bad
- Not good for running and long distance walking – lack of proper cushioning
- Not good if you have narrow feet
- Not good for cardio and HIIT like exercises
- Quality is above average but not great – if you lift every day you might quickly wear them out
- Front portion of the shoe is similar to running shoes
