Nike Romaleos vs Adidas Adipower

What’s good

  • Despite the durability they break in very quick – usually in one training session
  • These shoes provide tight and snug feeling without restricting your movement
  • Adipowers uppers have good amount of stretch – more than Nike Romaleos, additionally they are easier to lace up, lighter and have one strap less to deal with
  • Adidas adjustable strap has proper length in comparison to Romaleos
  • There is so much stability in these shoes that your feet feel sucked into the ground
  • They place your body in advantageous anatomical position for squatting preventing the injury
  • Shoes are a bit narrow at the toes which is a good thing in olympic lifting – your feet doesn’t move inside your shoes and there is a better power transfer from the ground up
  • They help you tremendously in engaging your glutes
  • Adipower shoes give you enormous confidence in your lifts
  • If it comes to squatting these shoes are superior to all Reebok products
  • They help your ankle mobility during lifting
  • Adidas weightlifting shoes might increase your interest in exercising in general

What’s bad

  • If you have very wide feet these shoes are not for you
  • They are not for running and long walking – they were designed for lifting and lifting only
  • Price might be too high for some people
